Plain terms for a small studio. If any of this is unclear, ask us on WhatsApp before you order rather than after.

Nivarika Atelier makes and sells mouth-blown glassware, hand-cut crystal, dinnerware and hand-strung bangles from a workshop in Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh. Using this website, or placing an order through it, means you accept these terms.
You must be able to enter a contract under Indian law to order from us. We sell within India.
Choosing Buy on a piece creates an order in our system and gives it a reference such as ORD-1042. That is a request, not a completed sale. An order is confirmed only when we reply on WhatsApp to say the piece is in stock, agree the total including delivery, and take payment.
We may decline an order — most often because the last of something broke in the annealing oven, or because the delivery address is somewhere we cannot ship reliably. If you have already paid and we decline, you are refunded in full.
Prices are in Indian Rupees and include GST where it applies. Delivery is quoted separately, because it depends on where the parcel is going and how well it has to be packed.
We do not take card details on this website. Payment is arranged directly with the studio over WhatsApp. Nobody from Nivarika will ever ask you for a card number, a CVV, an OTP or a UPI PIN — if someone does, it is not us.
We try to keep prices accurate. If a piece is listed at an obviously wrong price we will tell you before taking payment, and you can confirm at the correct price or cancel.
Every piece is made by a person. A faint seam where the pipe met the glass, a bangle a hair wider than its neighbour, a base whose thickness varies by a fraction — these are characteristics of the process, not faults, and we do not treat them as grounds for return.
Colour and size on a screen are approximate. Where a difference would matter to you, ask us for a photograph of the actual piece before you pay; we are happy to send one.
Anything that arrives cracked, chipped or broken is a different matter — see returns.
Signing in uses a code sent to your mobile number. Keep that number secure: anyone who can read your messages can sign in as you and see your address and order history. Tell us immediately if you lose control of the number.
We may suspend an account being used to place orders in bad faith — repeated orders that are never paid for, or abuse of the people who answer our WhatsApp.
We are responsible for the pieces we sell arriving as described and undamaged. We are not responsible for losses beyond that — a delayed parcel missing an occasion, for example — and our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it.
Nothing here removes rights you have under Indian consumer law.
The photographs, product descriptions, and the Nivarika name and mark belong to us. Please do not reuse them commercially without asking. Sharing a picture of something you bought, with credit, is welcome and always will be.
We may revise these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published on the day you placed it, and the date at the top of this page tells you when it last changed.
Message us on WhatsApp and a person will answer — we would rather talk it through than have you guess from a policy page.
